Description
The City of Minneapolis Neighborhood Safety Department is seeking one provider to operate from the South Minneapolis Community Safety Center and deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed, person-centered community navigation services. The selected provider must maintain a consistent on-site presence and employ three full-time Resource Navigators, including at least two bilingual navigators fluent in languages commonly spoken by South Minneapolis residents. Services include needs assessments, individualized navigation plans, resource coordination, warm handoffs, appointment and application assistance, crisis intervention, safety planning, follow-up, and collaboration with organizations inside and outside the Center. Responders must demonstrate relevant organizational experience, capacity to serve diverse communities, multidisciplinary partnerships, reporting and quality-assurance systems, and the ability to begin services on April 1, 2027. The City intends to award one two-year contract, with three possible one-year extensions; detailed budget amounts will be negotiated with the selected responder.
