Description
The University of Minnesota is soliciting proposals for the complete Bid Pack 1 system-furniture package for the Community-University Health Care Center. The scope includes steel storage units, height-adjustable sit-stand desks and tables, modular workstations, wall-mounted tackable media boards, overhead storage, bookcase/credenza units, monitor-arm and PC-mount add alternates, product documentation, delivery, and installation. The bid package must be bid in its entirety, and proposed products must comply with the Design Basis Criteria, including one manufacturer for the overall solution, new products direct from the original manufacturer, high-pressure laminate surfaces, specified electrical and height-adjustable-base features, and a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Respondents must return the Design Basis Criteria Response Form and Specification/Pricing Form in Excel format, include relevant PDF brochures, provide pricing for all required parts and installation, and include union or prevailing-wage labor. Finish samples must be mailed to the University by the bid deadline. The solicitation identifies a pre-installation meeting on May 4, 2027, installation beginning May 24, 2027, installation completion on June 3, 2027, and punch-list completion on June 21, 2027. Responses must be submitted electronically through MBID; the system requires all mandatory attributes and rejects late or incomplete submissions.
