Description
The United States Postal Service is soliciting a contractor for regular Contract Delivery Service on HCR 99863. The route requires daily service except Sundays and holidays, with approximately 303 annual trips, 15.5 round-trip miles per trip, 4,697.6 estimated annual miles, 2,258 estimated annual hours, and service for approximately 578 boxes. Duties include casing, loading, transporting, unloading, exchanging, collecting, and delivering all classes of mail, along with related scanning, markup, and minor administrative activities when directed. The contractor must provide at least one vehicle with 150 cubic feet of usable load space, suitable standby equipment, secure enclosed and waterproof mail storage, roof-mounted warning lights, and cellular communication capability. The proposed contract is fixed price with economic price adjustment, with service beginning October 11, 2026, and ending September 30, 2030. Proposals must include supplier eligibility, past performance, supplier capability, an operations plan addressing routine and contingency operations, representations and certifications, PS Form 7405, and a completed Highway Transportation Contract Cost Worksheet. Personnel with access to mail or postal facilities must undergo required Postal Service screening and clearance procedures.
