Description
The City and Borough of Juneau is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide complete professional engineering services for upgrades and replacement of the existing Crow Hill municipal water pump station. The scope includes flow meters, valves, pump and motor replacement, mechanical piping, a temporary water pumping system, electrical modifications, pressure sensors, lighting, variable frequency drives, instrumentation and controls, and related work. The selected consultant must perform research, field surveys, utility verification, design workshops, cost estimating, construction scheduling, permitting and easement assistance, neighborhood outreach, public meeting support, quality control, and preparation of bid-ready construction drawings, specifications, bid schedules, and engineer’s estimates. Services also include bid and award support, pre-bid and pre-construction conference attendance, and construction-phase design clarification. Final bid-ready documents are due January 11, 2027. Proposals are limited to seven numbered pages, with one-page resumes permitted as appendices; professional registration and applicable license information must be provided.
