Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) requires the supply, delivery, installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of one Human Machine Interface (HMI) touchscreen controller for an existing Tecniplast P-Line water bottle automation machine. This controller will be installed on the clean side of the cagewash area in Building 35/35A to allow staff to efficiently manage and troubleshoot the machine, reducing downtime and waste. The contractor shall provide a Tecniplast-compatible clean-side HMI touchscreen controller, including all necessary manufacturer-approved components, hardware, software, and licenses. The installation must be performed in coordination with the NIH, adhering to all facility access, safety, and biosecurity requirements. The HMI will be securely mounted to ensure safe operator access and visibility without obstructing operations or maintenance. All wiring and connections must be installed professionally, and the installation must not negatively impact the existing dirty-side HMI controller or any safety functions.
