Description
The Chicago Transit Authority is soliciting non-negotiable bids for new non-revenue fleet vehicles for its Infrastructure Department under a multiple-award modified blanket contract lasting up to 72 months. The scope includes box trucks, bucket vans, dump trucks, crane trucks, snowplow and salt-spreader trucks, stake-body trucks, tire trucks, truck tractors, trailers, utility vehicles, and related vehicle rentals or leasing. Initial purchases will be awarded by vehicle line item to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with subsequent purchases competed among awarded vendors through task orders. CTA anticipates expenditures of $10,000,000 over the contract period, but makes no commitment to purchase a specific dollar value. Bidders must submit pricing for all bid-table items, proposal pages, required certifications, a completed bidders list, applicable DBE schedules, Buy America certification, and other documents identified in the electronic procurement platform. Vehicles must meet detailed specifications, be new and in current production, comply with applicable federal and state requirements, and be delivered as specified in the contract documents. No bid deposit, performance bond, payment bond, or insurance is required for this solicitation.
