Description
Paulding County Board of Commissioners is soliciting multiple contractors under a fixed-period, indefinite-quantity, indefinite-frequency unit-price contract for anticipated but unplanned recurring small projects throughout the Paulding County Department of Transportation service area. The scope includes stormwater culvert, pipe, drainage structure, headwall, catch basin, manhole, gabion, erosion-control, and stabilization work; storm-line cleaning and CCTV inspection; asphalt and roadway restoration; traffic control; detention-pond clearing and mowing; hydro-vacuum or pneumatic utility excavation; and hourly rental of pumps and construction equipment. Work will be performed on an as-needed basis, with quantities not guaranteed. Typical project sizes may range from $10,000 to $300,000. The anticipated term is one year with up to two additional one-year extensions. Bidders must be prequalified by the Georgia Department of Transportation or meet Paulding County prequalification requirements, hold a valid Georgia Utility Contractor license, and be staffed and equipped to perform at least 50% of the work with their own personnel. The solicitation requires references, equipment and personnel information, qualifications, certifications, affidavits, financial and safety disclosures, and past-project information. A bid bond is not required; however, performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of an individual work-task contract amount, are required when that amount exceeds $99,999.99.
