Description
The project will restore the surface of Claire's Corner Fuel Mart after underground-storage-tank remediation. The selected contractor must remove sufficient existing gravel, compact the remaining base, install a geogrid layer, and construct approximately 2,000 square feet of standard-duty concrete pavement matching surrounding grades and conditions. The recommended section consists of 7 inches of ODOT 452 concrete over at least 8 inches of ODOT 304 crushed-limestone aggregate base, with Tensar HX165 or equivalent geogrid. The work includes concrete mix and reinforcement requirements, drainage, jointing, curing, saw cutting, traffic control, site restoration, and construction coordination with SME for observation and testing. The contractor must provide project photographs, comply with federal labor standards and prevailing-wage requirements, obtain necessary permits, and maintain required insurance and bonds. The contract time is 90 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $100 per calendar day for late completion.
