Description
Washington County, Ohio, is soliciting bids for an emergency culvert washout repair project at T-16 Duck Creek Road in Salem Township. The contractor must furnish the labor, materials, tools, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete the work and restore disturbed surfaces. The required completion date is December 1, 2026. The engineer's estimate is $85,048. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, domestic steel-use requirements, workers' compensation coverage, drug-free workplace program participation, applicable nondiscrimination requirements, and other county and Ohio public-works requirements. A bid guaranty is required in the form of either a bond for the full bid amount or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid. The prime contractor must retain at least 30% of the original contract and obtain written approval before subcontracting work.
