Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Engineering, is soliciting an MBE-certified, licensed contractor to convert a single restroom door, Room 105, at the Appalachian Hills WLA Visitor Center to ADA accessibility. The work includes installing an ADA paddle/push-plate switch, an automatic door operator, and all necessary door hardware. The solicitation references Specification Section 08 71 13, conformed drawings, conformed specifications, project photographs, and a project manual. The visitor center will remain occupied during the work, and the contractor must perform daily cleanup. The stated work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours coordinated with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Engineering. Completion is required by November 30, 2026, and award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
