Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service is soliciting quotes for comprehensive landscaping and grounds maintenance services at the Wood Education and Resource Center located in Princeton, WV. The contract will cover a base year with four one-year option periods, totaling up to five years. The scope of work includes seasonal services such as spring clean-up, autumn clean-up, and lawn mowing. Specific tasks involve debris removal, shrub and hedge trimming, edging, weeding, mulching, and fertilization. The contractor will be responsible for all necessary supervision, labor, supplies, equipment, and transportation to maintain the grounds, including trees, shrubbery, flower beds, sidewalks, and driveways. The contractor must adhere to all safety standards and provide necessary personal protective equipment. All chemicals used must be submitted to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for approval seven days prior to application, and a copy of the contractor's applicator or pesticide business license must be provided. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) prior to award. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price requirements contract, and award will be made to the offeror representing the best value to the Government based on technical approach, price, and past performance.
