Description
The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston is soliciting proposals for comprehensive professional teleradiology services. The contractor must provide board-certified radiologists to interpret all submitted imaging studies, prepare and transmit diagnostic reports, immediately communicate life-threatening findings, participate in trauma peer review and clinical quality processes, and provide appropriately credentialed pediatric radiologists for NICU-level requirements. Services must be available 24/7/365 and meet specified turnaround times: within 30 minutes for stroke studies, one hour for STAT studies, six hours for inpatient studies, 24 hours for routine studies, and 72 hours for specialty studies. The contractor must provide and maintain the required reading-site hardware, software, telecommunications, and technology infrastructure in accordance with American College of Radiology standards, while complying with applicable legal, privacy, licensing, accreditation, insurance, and administrative requirements.
