Description
The Houston-Galveston Area Council, in partnership with Waller County, is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive countywide mobility planning study. The work includes project management; public outreach and stakeholder engagement; existing-conditions, demographic, land-use, travel-demand, congestion, safety, freight, environmental, resiliency, and emergency-response analysis; mobility needs assessment; transportation recommendations; conceptual roadway visualizations; implementation planning; planning-level cost estimates; funding and phasing strategies; performance measures; and a final consolidated mobility plan. Deliverables include project and public involvement plans, reports and recommendations, prioritized projects and strategies, implementation matrices, corridor and intersection summary sheets, executive and final reports, presentation materials, GIS data and geodatabases, analytical datasets, editable source files, and population of H-GAC's project tracker. This is a planning study and does not seek engineering design services or stamped drawings. The estimated initial contract term is approximately 18 months, and the total budget will not exceed $700,000.
