Description
Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC, the management and operating contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy-owned Idaho National Laboratory, is seeking qualified vendors for a comprehensive Chemical Management Managed Service. The scope includes on-site chemical coordinators; chemical lifecycle tracking; purchasing, labeling, staging, storage verification, inventories, reconciliation, and disposition; and administration of the laboratory's Chemical Inventory System, including container records, Safety Data Sheets, hazard classifications, locations, user permissions, and data-quality reviews. The service also includes regulatory compliance and reporting, hazard communication, standard operating procedures, coordination with purchasing, receiving, and warehouse functions, user training, dashboards and status reports, continuous improvement, and transition and sustainment activities. Vendors must demonstrate the ability for on-site personnel to obtain required DOE clearances, including L-level clearances, and pass applicable background checks. Responses must describe relevant capabilities and experience, safety and quality programs, staffing and qualifications, local Idaho Falls-area support, mobilization, pricing model and rate card, business classification, and any exceptions to the scope. This is an information-gathering notice for a potential future Request for Proposal, not a current contract award solicitation.
