Description
The City of Pocatello is seeking a contractor for construction of the Brennan Trail Extension and Pedestrian Bridge Project. The work includes a new multi-use pathway connection and a 118-foot prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge across the Portneuf River, connecting the Brennan Trail to the existing city trail system. Major work items include approximately 540 linear feet of 10-foot-wide asphalt pathway; concrete abutments supported by driven steel H-piles; structural excavation and backfill; riprap and erosion control; clearing and grubbing; pathway grading; traffic control; seeding and revegetation; and related appurtenant work. Section 3, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses are encouraged to apply, and the City offers a preference for documented Section 3 businesses or individuals.
