Description
The City of Pomona is soliciting electronic bids for three categories: general paint and paint-related supplies for City departments; high-quality, new flat latex exterior paint for the Graffiti Abatement Program; and low-VOC acetone-based and water-based traffic paint for highways, parking lots, and crosswalks. Bidders may submit pricing for any or all categories, and the City may award to multiple contractors. Requirements include manufacturer names and pricing for listed products, percentage discounts from manufacturer price lists for related supplies, delivery within three business days of an order, color matching for City-standard colors, and compliance with specified VOC, performance, packaging, storage, and sample-testing requirements. The solicitation also requires a storefront within 10 miles of Pomona City Hall and submission of a five-gallon paint sample with product information and an MSDS for graffiti-abatement paint. The agreement term is five years, with quantities described as estimates rather than guarantees.
