Nassau BOCES is soliciting bids to establish pricing for a broad catalog of arts and crafts supplies and related equipment for Nassau BOCES and participating cooperative members. The 644-page bid lists hundreds of line items, including adhesives, paints, brushes, paper and boards, clay and ceramics materials, fabrics and textiles, sewing supplies, printing supplies, tools, craft kits, classroom materials, and related accessories. Fashion Design Department items are separately identified within the bid. The resulting arrangement will support blanket purchase agreements and purchase orders during a one-year period, with potential mutual extensions for two additional one-year periods. Vendors must provide unit pricing, identify alternate products and supplier product numbers where applicable, comply with specified product and safety requirements, and deliver orders indoors within 15 days after receipt of a purchase order. The bid may be awarded by item, class of items, or as a whole, and participating school districts and political entities may issue their own purchase orders.
