Description
Mesquite Independent School District is seeking proposals to establish a list of pre-approved companies or individuals that provide miscellaneous consultant services. The services must be delivered by independent contractors who are not district employees and are generally temporary or short-term in nature, supplementing the district’s expertise. Identified service areas include communications, public relations, interpretation, language, marketing, educational training, finance and accounting, social and human services, and legal and arbitration services. The solicitation will result in multiple awards made incrementally throughout the open solicitation period as proposals are periodically evaluated and accepted or rejected. Contracts run from the date of award through June 24, 2031, automatically renewing annually unless canceled by the district or vendor with 30 days’ notice. Vendors previously awarded under RFP 2023-018 must complete this solicitation when federal funds are used; doing so terminates and replaces the prior contract.
