Description
Ontario County is soliciting on-call, unit-price truck-mounted hydraulic crane and heavy lifting services for planned infrastructure, culvert and bridge replacement, highway construction and maintenance, and facilities work. The contractor must furnish rubber-tired cranes, certified operators, qualified riggers or signal persons, standard rigging, crane mats, setup and teardown, mobilization and demobilization, and additional support personnel as authorized. Crane capacities include 50-ton, 80-ton, and 100-ton classes, with daily, weekly, mobilization, and hourly labor pricing requested. Operators must hold the applicable New York State Department of Labor crane certificate, national accreditation or equivalent, and at least five years of crane-operating experience. Bidders must demonstrate at least five consecutive years of relevant commercial crane and heavy-lifting experience and provide at least three New York State municipal or commercial infrastructure references. The contract term is one year beginning January 1, 2027, with up to two additional 12-month renewals. No minimum quantity or total contract value is guaranteed.
