Description
This Sources Sought notice is for market research only, not a solicitation or request for proposals or quotes. The U.S. Forest Service is seeking information from Alaskan vendors capable of providing helicopter support for missions including fire suppression and monitoring, initial attack, prescribed fire and aerial ignition, short-haul, rappel, limited non-threatening law-enforcement surveillance, reconnaissance, and related administrative and resource activities. Responses will help the Government assess whether to issue an on-ramp to its existing Multiple Award Task Order Contract. The described contract models include call-when-needed aircraft and crews at pre-negotiated rates, and exclusive-use aircraft and crews dedicated to the Government for a defined period.
