Description
The U.S. Coast Guard seeks a contractor to provide the materials, equipment, and personnel needed for drydock repairs to the USCGC Kukui, a 225-foot buoy tender. The work includes hull and structural inspection and repair, preservation and coating, machinery and propulsion-system maintenance, sea-valve and tank work, and other specified vessel repairs and services. The contractor must provide a suitable shipyard facility and submit a detailed schedule, technical capability narrative, execution plan for crew lodging and meals, and required certifications and qualifications. Quotes must include completed pricing information, technical planning documentation, corporate experience, past-performance references, proof of insurance, anticipated subcontractor information, and facility and dry-dock certifications and calculations. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside and contemplates an indefinite-delivery requirements contract; the stated performance period is February 2 through May 18, 2027.
