Description
The Anchorage School District seeks vendors to provide indoor ice rink rental time for school practices and competitions, with priority access for the District. The stated service period is October 13, 2026, through February 13, 2027. The District expects an estimated 400 hours annually, but does not guarantee any minimum usage or award value; schools may select approved vendors as needed. Pricing is to be submitted as fixed unit prices for rental services and administrative costs. Any resulting contract has an initial one-year term beginning October 13, 2026, with up to four additional one-year extensions at the District’s option, subject to funding, performance, and continued need. Vendors must maintain commercial general liability insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate, and workers’ compensation coverage as required by Alaska law. A certificate of insurance naming the District as an additional insured is required under the contract. The submission checklist requires the signed Signature Page, Fee Schedule, vendor certification concerning the sex offender/child kidnapper registry, applicable conflict-of-interest documentation, and acknowledgment of any addenda.
