Description
Ada County Highway District is soliciting bids for approximately 22,000 gallons of yellow and 30,000 gallons of white high-build waterborne traffic line paint. The quantities are estimates, may be adjusted, and may be ordered throughout the agreement period. Both colors must use the same formulation and meet detailed performance, composition, color, environmental, testing, and application requirements, including specified limits for lead, chromium, volatile organic compounds, drying time, reflectance, viscosity, scrub resistance, and other characteristics. The paint must be delivered in 250-gallon bulk containers or approved 275-gallon tubular cage totes. The vendor must provide and remove containers, ship and return depleted containers, furnish four one-quart samples of each color with the bid, provide Safety Data Sheets and product specifications, and supply certificates of compliance and delivery documentation with shipments. The successful vendor may also be required to provide limited technical support for application and equipment setup. Award will be made to the lowest-cost responsive bidder meeting the specifications.
