Description
The Maryland Environmental Service is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to load, transport, treat, store, and properly dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at the Hawkins Point Landfill and Dundalk Marine Terminal. The opportunity includes requirements related to hazardous-waste handling, transportation, treatment, storage, disposal, recycling, and landfill services. Required submission materials include the Services Bid Form, Bid/Proposal Affidavit, Conflict of Interest form, MBE Attachment A, certifications regarding investment in Iran and discriminatory boycotts of Israel, a copy of HAZWOPER certification, documentation proving DOT registration for hazardous substances, and documentation for applicable permits, licenses, and certifications for hazardous substances. The solicitation identifies a 10% Minority Business Enterprise participation goal.
