Description
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Boating Division is soliciting applications for the Federal Clean Vessel Act (CVA) Grant Program. This program provides federally funded grants for qualifying projects that provide boat sewage disposal facilities, both fixed and mobile. Eligible projects include construction, purchase, installation, repair, or upgrade of marine sanitation devices (MSDs) such as pumpout stations, dump stations, and pumpout vessels, as well as operation and maintenance costs. Up to 75% of approved project costs may be reimbursed, with a minimum 25% match required. Projects must offer free use to all recreational vessels and comply with Build America, Buy America Act requirements.
