Description
The City of Murfreesboro is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for Collection Agency Services to manage delinquent fees, fines, and costs for various city departments. This includes accounts from the Finance Director, City Court Clerk, and Water Resources Department, with potential referrals for miscellaneous receivables, police department tickets, and other government receivables. The selected contractor will be responsible for collecting these debts through lawful, ethical, and professional means, adhering to all local, state, and federal laws. The City expects the contractor to provide a comprehensive collection service capable of handling both small and large volumes of delinquent accounts, utilizing proven technology and best practices. The contractor will be required to provide monthly accounting reports, remit collected sums, and maintain detailed records of all collection activities. The City reserves the right to recall accounts at any time and will manage the contract through designated personnel from the City Court and Water Resources Department.
