The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support Huntsville, Tactical Missile Branch is seeking information on potential sources capable of manufacturing LIGHT ASSEMBLY PANELS (NSN 1430-01-089-8516) for the M-D6 Patriot Weapon System. This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only, and not a solicitation. Potential offerors must demonstrate the capability to perform new manufacturing, including component part procurement, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. Responsibilities may also extend to supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, managing long-lead time parts, addressing diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, and shipping serviceable assets. The government is interested in all potential sources, including small businesses, 8(a) concerns, small disadvantaged businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses, Hubzone businesses, and Women-Owned small businesses. Responses should include company name, address, Cage Code, technical point of contact information, applicable NAICS code (334511), and business classification/socio-economic status. The government will evaluate market information to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy, which may include a small business set-aside, full and open competition, or sole source procurement. Export of technical data is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and Export Administration Act.
