Description
Sumner County Government is requesting proposals for comprehensive billing services and electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) solutions for its Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The selected vendor will be responsible for managing the entire billing and collection process for emergency medical transports, including providing the necessary technology and support. The scope of work includes providing a web-based billing platform, training for county personnel, and comprehensive reporting capabilities. The vendor must demonstrate experience in ground ambulance transport billing, with a minimum of five years in business and a proven track record of handling at least 15,000 emergency transports annually per client. The solution must also support non-emergency transports, participation in TN Medicaid (TennCare), and contracts with healthcare facilities. The vendor will be required to provide 26 Wi-Fi enabled computer tablets for ePCR documentation, along with the ESO software and associated technical support. Additionally, the vendor must maintain HIPAA-compliant security and data management practices.
