Description
The City of Franklin, Tennessee is soliciting sealed bids for the Del Rio Pike Roadway Widening and Culvert Improvement project. The project involves widening an 845-foot section of Del Rio Pike to include three lanes, two bike lanes, a landscaping strip on each side, and sidewalks. Additionally, the existing culverts beneath Del Rio Creek will be extended by slip-lining them to construct two 60-inch diameter pipes, each extended approximately 60 feet. Concrete headwalls and wingwalls will also be constructed. The work includes clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, asphalt paving, concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, retaining walls, storm drainage, traffic control, and erosion control measures. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. Central Time on July 14, 2026. A bid bond of 5% is required. Performance and payment bonds are also required. The contract time is 180 days for substantial completion.
