Description
The State of Tennessee, Department of Labor and Workforce Development, is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) regarding Digital Tablets and Adult Education Software. The agency requires approximately 8,000 or more ruggedized tablets with security features suitable for incarcerated individuals. These tablets must securely connect to a network and be pre-loaded with state-required software, with the ability for the vendor to install or remove additional applications. The tablets will be provided at no cost to the participant and will include administrative access for state employees. Key features include a modernized resume builder, lifecycle management with replacement tablets, charging stations, and a Learning Management System (LMS) for tracking participant utilization. The vendor will be responsible for a statewide, multi-location implementation plan with on-site support. Reporting capabilities on software and tablet utilization are required, along with enterprise-grade hosting, authentication, encryption, and compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and ADA requirements. The solution must integrate with third-party applications and provide personal development, workforce skills, and rehabilitation training software. Comprehensive administrative and tablet training, as well as LMS training, will be provided by the vendor. Data migration and onboarding, maintenance, support, and service levels are also key considerations. The system should support multiple languages, including English and Spanish.
