The Department of the Air Force is seeking annual flow testing, visual inspection, maintenance, certification, and repair services for its MSA G1 Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) inventory supporting emergency-response operations. The scope covers 88 SCBA masks and packs, 21 additional masks, one Supplied Air Reserve cart, and one Rapid Intervention Team pack. Services include testing of harnesses, pneumatic components, electronics, facepieces, cylinders, and related equipment in accordance with MSA manufacturer requirements and NFPA 1852. The contractor must use authorized MSA C.A.R.E.-certified technicians qualified to service and repair MSA G1 systems, provide all necessary tools, parts, and equipment, and furnish testing results, repair quotes, and a comprehensive electronic service report within seven business days after each annual service. Testing is expected to occur over four days during October or no later than the first week of November, and the requirement is anticipated to be a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. A contractor quality control plan is required with the final proposal.
