Description
Eufaula City Schools is soliciting sealed proposals from general contractors for construction of a storage building enclosure. Bidders must visit the site and examine existing conditions before submitting a proposal, coordinate the visit with the Board of Education, provide proper supervision, and complete the work according to the scope and completion requirements in the project manual. Bids must use the Architect's proposal forms or copies thereof and exclude taxes. General liability and workers' compensation insurance are required. A certified check or bid bond payable to Eufaula City Schools, equal to at least 5% of the bid amount and capped at $10,000, must accompany the sealed proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at contract signing. Applicable Alabama general contractor licensing evidence and the current license number must be provided as specified. Project documents are available through the Architect's project bid list, and only documents published through that process are endorsed by the Architect.
