Description
The State of Michigan seeks turn-key pricing to plug and abandon 22 orphan wells, remove associated surface infrastructure, collect and dispose of plugging waste, and restore the well locations. Work includes site access preparation, rig mobilization and demobilization, wellbore cleaning and logging, cementing, removal or disposal of equipment and debris, and grading and seeding as needed. Pricing is requested per well and as a total for all 22 wells, with unit rates for listed rated items. The proposal must include a project timeline covering at least site preparation, mobilization/demobilization, plugging, and site restoration, along with information about rig use and availability, the basis for the timeline, and anticipated directly employed staffing. Only vendors awarded a contract through the prequalification process may submit, and attendance at the mandatory pre-proposal site meeting is required to submit. The successful contractor and subcontractors must comply with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements.
