Description
John Glenn School Corporation seeks symmetrical internet access and data transmission at 2 Gbps, scalable to 5 Gbps, with guaranteed throughput to its head-end. The proposal must include laddered pricing in 500 Mbps increments, a /27 subnet with 32 public IPv4 addresses, service-provider-owned equipment needed for the handoff, and a description of the proposed handoff and service pathway. Fiber handoffs are requested. Bidders should also describe available resiliency, firewall, and DDoS-protection features, and provide pricing for additional addresses and optional IPv6 addresses. Each proposal must include complete recurring and nonrecurring pricing, a proposed service-level agreement with availability, packet-loss, latency, jitter, outage-response and repair commitments, and monthly and annual service reporting. The SLA must provide for a two-hour diagnosis and a four-hour temporary or permanent repair. Responses must also include a service description and construction timeline, three similar-service references, the provider’s E-Rate SPIN number, and a sample contract addressing the stated requirements and E-Rate funding contingency. The requested contract is three years, with up to two optional one-year extensions.
