Description
The district seeks symmetrical internet access and data transmission with guaranteed throughput, starting at 10 Gbps and scalable to 20 Gbps. The provider must support BGP peering with the district’s autonomous system and existing /24 public IPv4 address block, provide a /30 or /31 point-to-point subnet, and price an optional provider-assigned public IPv4 block of up to /29. Proposals should describe BGP capabilities and implementation, service handoff and any provider-owned onsite equipment, available resiliency, firewall and DDoS features, and any optional IPv6 support. SIP service may be priced separately and will not be evaluated as an E-Rate-eligible service. Responses must include detailed service and construction descriptions with a completion timeline, complete tiered pricing in 1 Gbps increments, a proposed SLA, three similar-service references, the provider’s E-Rate SPIN number, and a sample contract. The SLA must address availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, 24/7/365 trouble reporting, repair commitments, chronic trouble, and service reporting. The contract term sought is three years with up to two optional one-year extensions.
