Description
The Housing Authority of the City of Woonsocket is seeking one qualified and licensed contractor to inspect and service fire protection systems at its housing facilities. The scope includes quarterly fire sprinkler system inspections, quarterly fire alarm and detection system inspections, annual servicing of approximately 200 portable fire extinguishers, fire extinguisher recharging throughout the year, additional labor, and emergency repairs available on a 24-hour basis. The contractor must provide detailed work plans and schedules, perform work in accordance with applicable codes and NFPA standards, submit inspection reports, notify relevant agencies as required, and return to a site within four hours when notified to correct or reinspect work. Proposals must address all listed pricing items because the Authority intends to retain one contractor for the full scope. The anticipated contract is one base year with two additional one-year options.
