Description
MetroPlus Health Plan, Inc. is seeking a public relations agency to serve as a strategic partner supporting membership growth, brand consideration, reputation improvement, share of voice, and executive positioning. The scope includes integrated PR strategy, editorial pitching and media outreach across broadcast, print, and digital channels, content development, spokesperson advisement and media training, thought leadership and event support, reputation monitoring, crisis management, scenario planning, and monthly performance reporting. Proposers must demonstrate healthcare or regulated-industry experience and at least five to seven years of relevant public relations experience. Required proposal content includes a sample 90-day PR plan, sample pitch angles, a media target list, at least three outcome-focused case studies, a cost proposal covering retainers, role-based hourly rates, project pricing, and pass-through costs, and three client references, including at least one healthcare or managed-care client. The contract term is one year with three one-year renewal options. New York State-certified Minority- or Women-Owned Business Enterprise participation is required at a 30% subcontracting goal, subject to certification or an approved waiver.
