Description
The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking one firm to provide District Four Office of Modal Development special-project communication and outreach services. The scope covers passenger operations, freight and logistics, and rail programs, including transit, complete streets, trails, bicycles, pedestrian initiatives, aviation, seaports, freight, and rail administration. Services may include communication planning, public relations, stakeholder and community outreach, marketing, translation and interpreting, website and social media support, media relations, surveys, special-event support, video and printed-media production, and related special projects. The selected firm may be expected to propose and develop campaigns or support the Department reactively, depending on need. The contract is a nonexclusive, indefinite-quantity arrangement with one selected firm. Billing rates must include the stated labor and operating costs, while authorized and allowable task-related expenses may be reimbursed separately. Meetings and emergency or after-hours activities will be determined as needed. No in-house work is required, and the solicitation states that the sample campaign video may be submitted as an MP4 file or link; other additional work samples and hyperlinks in the prior-relevant-experience section are not permitted. The proposal must acknowledge Q&A No. 1 with a wet signature and return it by email with the bid no later than the proposal-opening deadline.
