Description
The Town of Vernon is soliciting proposals for comprehensive renovation of Camp Newhoca Lodge and associated facilities at a municipal recreation property. The scope includes repairs and painting to the lodge, construction of a staff sitting room, replacement of doors and windows, floor and gutter work, renovation of the camp staff office, and construction of a new accessible deck and switchback ramp. Additional work includes roofing and structural repairs at the large pavilion and art shed; replacement of decking, siding, and railings; reconstruction of the boat house roof, siding, doors, and garage doors; and renovation of the beach house, including new doors, windows, siding, roofing, stairs, and handrails. The contractor must provide required plans and design documents, obtain permits and approvals, coordinate inspections and subcontractors, comply with Connecticut prevailing-wage and public-works requirements, and complete the project no later than April 15, 2027. Proposals must include a detailed project scope and schedule with a Gantt chart, a completed Proposal Submission Form, and at least three comparable projects completed within the past five years. Addendum No. 3 confirms that the October 21, 2026 deadline remains unchanged and requires acknowledgment of the addendum.
