Description
Fort Pierce Utilities Authority is soliciting qualification statements from engineering firms to establish a pool of firms for one or more master continuing contracts covering as-needed construction management and program management services for gas utility systems and related infrastructure. Assignments may include gas distribution, metering, pressure regulation, utility and facility improvements, rehabilitation, renewal and replacement, repairs, upgrades, emergency work, and advanced metering infrastructure support. Services may include preconstruction planning, field verification, constructability review, estimating, scheduling, phasing, procurement support, permitting coordination, construction coordination, project controls, cost and schedule management, inspections, testing, commissioning, closeout, warranty support, and emergency response. Project-specific work will be issued through Specific Authorizations, and pricing will not be considered during the qualifications phase. The initial contract term is up to five years from execution, with one possible one-year renewal; no minimum volume of work is guaranteed.
