Description
This document package contains two required bid attachments for Tecumseh Public Schools: a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement and a sworn and notarized Affidavit of Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The familial disclosure must identify any relationship between the bidder’s owners or employees and members of the Board of Education, the Superintendent of Schools, or the Business Manager; if none exists, the bidder must certify that fact. The Iran sanctions affidavit requires the bidder to certify that it is not an Iran-linked business and will not become one during contract performance. Both statements must be completed, signed, sworn, notarized, and included with the bid; bids lacking either required statement will not be accepted. The Iran certification also describes substantial civil penalties and a three-year bidding ineligibility period for false certification.
