Description
The Village of Hoffman Estates is soliciting bids for janitorial services at municipal operational sites, including Village Hall, the Police Department, the Public Works Center, Fleet Maintenance, and as-needed services at four fire stations. Recurring work includes waste removal, hard-floor cleaning, carpet vacuuming and spot cleaning, restroom and kitchenette sanitation, high-touch surface disinfection, glass and surface cleaning, supply replenishment, and related quality-control inspections. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, equipment, and specified cleaning products, including HEPA-filtered vacuums and approved disinfectants and floor-care products. The bid also includes separately priced as-needed strip-and-wax floor services, deep carpet cleaning using hot-water extraction, and hourly cleaning services. Bidders must provide six comparable active references, identify proposed subcontractors and their references, complete the required bid forms, and submit a 10% bid deposit. A 100% performance bond is required from the successful bidder. The initial service period is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with possible extensions through December 31, 2030.
