Description
The Office on Violence Against Women, within the U.S. Department of Justice, is soliciting applications for grants supporting community-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and response strategies for children and youth ages 0–24 affected by domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sex trafficking. Eligible applicants include tribal governments and organizations, units of local government, nonprofit organizations, victim service providers, and independent school districts; institutions of higher education are not eligible. The anticipated award period is 36 months beginning October 1, 2026. Anticipated awards range from $350,000 to $500,000, with total funding of $14,000,000 and approximately 30 awards. Applications must include a proposal narrative, budget, memorandum of understanding with required project partners, and applicable certifications, forms, and financial attachments. The proposal narrative is limited to 10 single-spaced pages and must address the project's purpose, activities and outcomes, and implementation team. Applications addressing purposes 1–3 may request up to $500,000, while applications addressing purpose 4 may request up to $300,000; a minimum of $15,000 must be allocated to travel for training and technical assistance.
