Description
The City of Minot is soliciting bids for 5,000 tons of clean, sharp washed sand. The supplier must provide material meeting specified gradation requirements: 100% passing the 3/8-inch sieve, 95-100% passing the No. 4 sieve, 45-80% passing the No. 16 sieve, and 0-5% passing the No. 200 sieve. A gradation analysis of the proposed material must be submitted with the bid, and nonconforming lots may be rejected. The supplier must deliver the sand to the Public Works Building in 250-ton minimum quantities, with deliveries made on demand after bid approval. Bidders must provide a unit price and delivery information for the period from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027. The completed bid proposal must be sealed and clearly marked with Project #4229 and the specified bid title.
