Description
The City seeks a contractor to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, and materials for complete demolition and removal of an approximately 6,500-square-foot tilt-up concrete building, including its foundation, and approximately 9,000–9,500 square feet of concrete parking area. The contractor must haul the resulting materials for lawful disposal or recycling, provide disposal records, backfill excavations with suitable fill, and leave the site level, safe, and clean. The solicitation notes that bidders must verify accessible site conditions and demolition limits before submitting a proposal. Proposals must include a lump-sum price with separate amounts for building and foundation demolition, parking area demolition, hauling and disposal, and backfill and site leveling. Respondents must also provide relevant concrete demolition experience, proposed personnel and equipment, comparable project references, a work approach, an anticipated completion schedule, and any assumptions or exclusions. Insurance documentation and specified disclosures and forms are also required. A demolition work plan and applicable insurance documentation, permits, and authorizations are required before mobilization; work may begin only after written City authorization.
