This small-business set-aside construction project involves rehabilitating approximately 12.33 miles of roadway at Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. The work includes full-depth reclamation of existing chip-seal and gravel surfaces, roadway widening and realignment, placement of aggregate base and gravel surface course, concrete work, utility conduit, an aluminum gate, bollards, signage, and 13 specialized speed bumps with earth anchors. Bidders must price the base schedule and all three aggregate-surfacing alternatives; the Government will award the base schedule with one alternate.
