Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for three steam sterilizers. The anticipated requirement includes removing three existing units and supplying, delivering, installing, testing, and commissioning the replacements, with all necessary labor, materials, equipment, utility connections, and accessories. The sterilizers must meet the stated size, chamber, power, control, capacity, and compatibility requirements, including support for RO/DI water and applicable sterilization standards. The work also includes functional validation, cycle verification, steam-generator and water-quality testing, operational checkout, manuals and warranty materials, and training for facility staff and two biomedical technicians. The contractor must complete the removal and installation within 120 days following award.
