Description
The Brownsville Navigation District is soliciting proposals for testing and laboratory services supporting the Fishing Harbor, Turning Basin, and Northside Wastewater Treatment Plants. Required testing includes Biochemical Oxygen Demand, Total Suspended Solids, Escherichia coli bacteria, cyanide, oil and grease (HEM), enterococci, and additional tests required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to maintain certification and support monthly reports and biyearly inspections. The selected vendor must provide required certifications and licenses, deliver services within one day after receipt of an order, and comply with specified insurance requirements. The agreement runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with up to three additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement. Evaluation considers scope compliance, firm qualifications and experience, service availability, and cost.
