Description
The City of Mountain View is soliciting professional design services for remodels at City Hall and the Center for the Performing Arts. The scope includes interior reconfigurations, workstations and offices, kitchen and storage modifications, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and sprinkler coordination, acoustical treatments, accessible ticketing, sound-booth modifications, new flooring, and a 150-seat telescoping seating system. The consultant must address applicable accessibility, building, fire, environmental, and other code requirements, including evaluation of the underground parking garage and paths of travel. The design team must include architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, acoustics, and hazardous-materials expertise as needed. Services cover existing-condition investigations, conceptual design, 65%, 95%, and 100% plans/specifications/estimates, permitting and CEQA support, bidding assistance, construction administration, weekly owner-architect-contractor meetings, site visits, punch-list work, and record drawings. Proposals require separate City Hall and Center for the Performing Arts fee proposals, a narrative proposal, references, legal and conflict-of-interest information, an insurance certificate, and acknowledgment of issued addenda.
