Description
This Request for Information seeks industry input on a Hardware-as-a-Service operating lease for commercial tactical camera systems, lenses, and accessories supporting the Marine Corps Visual Information Acquisition System. The vendor would provide commercial equipment, manage its lifecycle, and perform a mandatory 36-month hardware refresh. Proposed hardware must be TAA-compliant, and camera systems must support the Canon RF lens mount standard to work with the government’s existing lens inventory. The Marine Corps is also seeking information about vendors’ leasing experience, Canon reseller status, TAA verification, sustainment and warranty support, equipment replacement service levels, end-of-lease returns and data sanitization, supply-chain risk management, and cybersecurity practices. Respondents are asked to describe custom kitting, staging, and integration capabilities, including integration of government-furnished laptops, and provide rough per-kit annual subscription pricing for the VIAS-Video and VIAS-Photo kits.
